Deep gouges in slave, prop shaft play... TT rebuild time?

On the new slave, change the plastic TB race with the billet one.

Also, what does the Pilot bearing surface look like on the front of the input shaft, since if gouged/worn to hell, or spines peen to hell, replace it at the same time as well.
Also, if running a tick master cylinder, make sure you have it adjusted correctly, so the TB is not begin over thrown to cause the pressure plate fingers to be over compressed. Hence looks like what caused the damage to the slave in the first place (short of a LS9 clutch exploding, since the non removable pressure plate love to do that when over stressed).

Hey man! I know this was about a year ago but where did you get that prop shaft? The middle ring on mine and a small area behind the splines was chewed up because of a bellhousing failure, and I can’t seem to find a new prop shaft anywhere.
Hence the band is there just in cause the pilot bearing goes south, to bounce that ring off the ID off the slave only, to keep the unit still kind of working. Its not a normal contact area when all it right with the parts isntead.
Also, if spines can be cleaned up, and its just the snot that has a little wear/marring that can not be cleaned up without reducing the OD of it, then check around for a shop that can spray weld to rebuild up the snout OD surface. The input shafts are in high demand/limited supplies, and have seen them listed for over $400 new currently from the dealers that do have the in stock.
Also I dont have access to a lathe to see how true it is. I found a whole assembly with bellhousing (my original issue lol) for 1200 with 22k miles just to get the car back on the road, then ill have a spare rebuild kit for when it happens again hahah. Ill look around for someone who can build and true that back up for next time if theyre such a hot commodity. SO I guess Ill have a really nice clutch alignment tool for the time being!
