This morning after starting my C6 the CEL came on with a message that read,
“reduced engine power”
I installed a Pedal Commander a few days ago and have had no issues with CEL up until today when I tried changing the mode via Bluetooth.
The car was in park when this happened, any ideas how this could happen & what needs to be done to remove the CEL?
Not enough info. You need to read the CEL to get the DTC. Autoshack will do it for you but is better to invest, at minimum, in a $14 code reader (scan tool is better).

Last year when I was shopping the pedal commander I saw it had Bluetooth. I couldn’t see how BT could really be beneficial so I got the Soler unit for a bunch less green. At the time I was thinking that BT might cause problems down the road and was one of the things that steered me towards the Soler. Maybe the BT is connected to your issue, just a wild guess though.

I don’t think you’re far off because it’s been working fine up until I connected it via BT.
I went ahead & unpaired the BT function & deleted the app so that now it’s changed via the PC itself, hopefully this resolved my issue!
I don't know what the calibration procedure is for the pedal commander, but I would run it again. I had the same issue with my Vitesse TC, it was fine for ~5 years then started causing DTCs so I disconnected it. Another point to remember is that anytime the battery in the car gets low the unit needs to be recalibrated as well.
N8, Agree with Patsg, run through your accelerator pedal calibration procedure for what you have.
I run with the Soler equipment and had loss of power syndrome until I got the pedal calibration sorted out, works fine now. At least that is what I believe was the solution path for my ride.
