Default Brake Replacement

Have noticed an intermittent squeal the first couple of times driving since breaking car out of winter storage. Am I ready for new brakes? 2012 with 29000 miles.

Have you tried a few high speed stops to create a lot of heat in them?

Had squeaks occasionally in mine. Went to the drag strip for test and tune and some hard stops from 120 deglazed them and no more squeaks for a while but they did come back. Just did new Delco rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Love them. Very low dust, very quiet and great bite. 👍👍

I hit 33K miles on my 2012 GS with OEM brakes and I'm in need. Just checked since they're squealing pretty regularly. I have less than 1/4 in of pad left. Pretty sure you're close to that as well.

They could be worn with that mileage, but I think it's on the low side. You'll have to pull both wheels and look at the pads.
I would try some hard stops as mentioned above first. Easier.

Try backing it up, and hitting the brakes hard a couple times, and keep safety in mind.
