Well, today I noticed a squeak when I first started up the car. I popped the hood and it appeared the harmonic balancer was noticeably wobbly. I took it to a Corvette shop and it was visibly confirmed by the shop owner. He would not quote me a price until he got into the car. He is definitely reputable and knowledgeable, but I'm hesitant to turn my vehicle over to someone who can't quote me a price. So, I went to a dealership and got their price, then found another shop with a ton of positive reviews, including a Corvette HB replacement on Google.
They could only get me an OEM HB or a Dorman HB (they are required to source through certain vendors). However, they will allow me to bring my own parts and only charge me for labor. I quickly nixed the OEM HB idea. I can get a Summit HB, but I'm concerned I won't have all the parts I need if I do that. I'm also concerned I won't be able to get it in time prior to next Saturday when I scheduled the work.
Here's my question: Is the Dorman HB a bad idea? Is it basically a knock-off AC Delco HB that will fail within 20,000 miles? If I opt to go with a Summit Racing HB, what other parts should I pre-order so that they have everything they need?
For reference, I have an 05 Base with no mods and 90k on the odometer. I have zero plans of doing anything more than adding a cat-back exhaust.

Thanks in advance everyone!
ARP Bolt and new front seal. Powerbond PB 1117 SS I believe is the number. Summitt has it all with quick shipping.

For what it's worth orders from Summit, if in stock, will arrive in 2-3 days. They have several choices as well. There's another thread down the list a ways on this same issue. Also links to videos and instructions to do it yourself if you're mechanically inclined.

Thanks! Yeah, I read through that thread and there is no way I would try to attempt this myself. I just want to make sure I have all the necessary parts (and correct part numbers) before I take the car to the mechanic. I have it scheduled for a week from today, so I'm hoping to have everything ready to go ahead of time.

Though I think the Dorman is probably fine, I used the base Powerbond on my '08. Got it from Rock Auto, with a new belt and bolt.
Rock Auto has it for $202 and their shipping is fast as well. For what it's worth, the pictures I've seen of it appear that one belt surface sits at a slightly different height as the other, and if true this is an underdrive pulley as opposed to the OEM being both belt grooves the same diameter. I could be wrong but I'd want to check this out before hitting the buy now button. I couldn't find anything that said it was an underdrive pulley so you might be just fine.
Thanks for the quick replies everyone! Does this look right to everyone (part numbers, etc.)? Do I need to provide anything else to the mechanic?
Looks like the HB bolt you have is not an ARP. I couldn’t find in the description any mention of it being a real ARP product. Spend the extra $10 and make sure you get a quality product instead of a cheaper knock-off.
