OK, I know most folks here HATE(!) any kind of dash cover with a passion, but I don't think they look bad and I believe they do protect the dash material over time.
Here's the thing, my HUD is broken and since we don't know what we're missing (broke when we go it), I would like to cover the HUD hole.
I don't like, however, the mats that drape over the passenger airbag all the way down to the glove box. Does anyone know of a mat that stops at the arch portion of the passenger side dash area?

Don't know that much about them, but from what I gather you don't fix them you replace them. I don't trust myself to tear apart the dash I am not that mechanically inclined especially on car interiors. When I work on cars I break more things than I am trying to fix including my own body parts, and I just don't have the patience.
Removing the dash is not all that difficult. It’s simply removing screws & bolts and setting pieces aside. Here’s a good step-by-step that I followed & it took me just about 2 hours taking my time, putting the screws & bolts in baggies & labeling where they go. Putting the dash back in took me & my 11-year old son about an hour.
