Aloha all, just got a set of Borla S-Types installed and reused the stock tips for now. Looking for ideas on exhaust tips. Would dual 4” be too large? Double wall or single wall? Would appreciate any pics from members. I’ve looked around on the net and some of the pics out there don’t have much in the way of descriptions. Also looking for input as to the overall length of the tip you have on, I see 9.5 and 10” as the most common ones. Wondering if it’ll stick out too far.
I installed an NXTStep Performance exhaust system on my '06 Convertible. Tips are Quad 4 inch round double walled.
I personally wouldn't install anything less than 4 inch.
Gotta say those 4”tips on the nxt are sweet. Really thinking of that system for my 06 convertible. I just installed a set of s type Borlas on my sons mustang gt. The sound is awesome but the tips are something less than desirable. Single wall and cheap looking. I would of thought with how popular the borla systems are and the price tag they would have better looking tips.

Thanks for the pics guys! I think I will look for double walled 4”+ tips. I’ll crawl under the car and measure what space is back there to determine IF the 9” are too long (that’s what she said).
Going to definitely need to get the shortest tips you can find so it doesn’t stick out. This is what I used. Even these stick out an inch further than stock but that much looks fine.
I have dual carbon fiber tips on my corsa sport. I cut off the factory dual tips and installed these. They are 4.5"
Not borla but will give you an idea of what the size looks like in a dual tip.

I got these tips on amazon for $79 two years ago. Now they want $99 for them. I had them mounted c7 style with no gap in the center. They are 4" outlet.
