Default [evolving concept] C6 designed by Corvetteforum... join in..

Version 1.0 http://grammonline.com/miscimages/c6/evolve_c6.jpg
Version 2.0 http://grammonline.com/miscimages/c6/evolve_c6_2.jpg

Obviously there is a lot to tweaked.

My thoughts...

- With the exception of the mellow cove on the side, there is little "heritage" in this car.
- I haven't designed the side engine vent... should their be one?
- side markers? square? round? trick?
- side exhaust?
- hood design... vents? more cowl like?
- more muscle? more evil? more classic look?

Here's your chance! Give me your feedback, what changes you would make, or what should stay as is. We can finish this up together.

I'll make the changes in the evenings. Don't forget about final color!

This is perhaps your best front-engine design yet.

However, IMHO, the headlights are too big, the separate foglight opening recalls too many other (cheaper) cars and gives the face an undesirable smirk. The door is too busy -- the cove looks great, and the front fender line looks good, but the fold conflicts with these first two lines and looks out of place. Finally, the wraparound lip looks gratuitous and lifted straight from a Celica. Corvette needs big wide hips -- this design looks pinched in and up. If the lip was less pronounced, brought out toward the wheel, and curved down into the door it would look more like a Corvette.

What Jinx said. Additionally, the design of the rear flanks recalls the previous generation Tiburon way too much.

Front View looks impressive.
I agree with jinx...the fog lights are a little big..

having not seen the tail end, it looks like the rear quarter panels are "high and tight"
could you broaden them out in the back and shave them toward the rear area more. A more classic c3 look if you will.

I just noticed that, fixed.

The door is too busy -- the cove looks great, and the front fender line looks good, but the fold conflicts with these first two lines and looks out of place.
Fixed.

Finally, the wraparound lip looks gratuitous and lifted straight from a Celica.
Celica! Arg! Fixed...

Corvette needs big wide hips -- this design looks pinched in and up.
Fixed.

If the lip was less pronounced, brought out toward the wheel, and curved down into the door it would look more like a Corvette.

It should definately be RED!
and i think the hood should look different, maybe kind of like an old L-88 or the new tigershark, also the hood lokks kinda short, maybe that would fix it all
good work, but i still think your ZL1 is the best yet

Now that's a C6 I could get excited about.

The inside-mounted foglights look like fangs.

(I like the sharp creases in the hood of the first version better, though.)

As good as that looks, and it is a very slick car, it screams C5 to me. Again, as much as I like the C5, I feel (just my opinion) that the C6 should be somewhat more unique. I'm not sure how that would be accomplished, but that's why I'm not making the models...lol Anyway keep up the good work. :flag

I wonder if they could do something with the headlamps like BMW does

The hood looks too much like a Mid 90's Firebirds and the foglights look like a LS1 Firebird. The back looks like a early 90's Talon.

Picture 2 is Great.
Paint mine torch red after you eliminate those fog lights and build it....
I would buy one.....

Any idea for the rear end?.... Definitely 4 tail lights and Make it a Hardtop.....

I'm with hubes, I would like to see something done with the hood. Something along the lines of the the tiger shark, L-88, or LT-1. Other than that I like it.
