thanks I appreciate the feedback. It looks like I should have tried to swing one last year from what people are saying and what I am reading. But if prices going to keep going up then I shouldn't wait either.
Don't shop price, shop needs. If you buy mostly for the price, you will probably regret not spending a little more, or looking a little longer, to get what you find out you really wanted.
As for the general price level you are looking at, you will be restricted to moderate-mileage '05 to '07, or high mileage (90K?) '08. I would not fear high mileage in a first Vette. You will likely drive it a year or two, then either sell it to buy another Vette, or will find the Vette does not suit you.
