Not sure what only 4 months has to do with it, been building street rods and muscle cars for over 50 years! Happen to have just done my balancer (myself) after a ton of research. Shame on me for not knowing that LS1's and LS3's had the same issue. Was only interested in Corvettes with LS2's. I'll certainly try to be more informed before posting again.
Thought for sure I had read somewhere along the line that GM had fixed the problem. Hard to imagine after they knew of it early on that they wouldn't have done something about it!! Could have and should have created a HUGE recall wouldn't you think !!! Easier to just say "it's in spec" I suppose!!!
Information on GM parts lookup for the balancer below. Specifies this is a "2nd Design" with a replacement part number. As I stated in an earlier post, GM did provide a redesign HOWEVER I do not necessarily trust the GM part....
Need more information. LS2 or LS3 ? 6.0 or 6.2 Powerbond 1117SS from Rock Auto. ARP bolt # 234-2503. Don’t forget a new front seal. There, I did my good deed for the day.

These are the exact parts I ordered from Rockauto and had installed on Wednesday. My LS2 had a slight wobble. 53,000 miles. Next is the lower radiator support and a new AC condenser.
The HB should be considered preventive maintenance.
Just wanted to update, I took the cautious route and ended up parking the car for the past few weeks until this weekend, here is the old OEM harmonic balancer and glad I didn’t drive it much, as you can see the rubber connecting the outer and inner was more than half torn/worn.
It certainly didn't look that bad in your earlier video and look what you discovered! As someone stated no wobble is acceptable and you certainly could have had a catastrophic failure by the looks of that. Bet you're glad you changed it!!

Yeah I felt mostly confident driving it with the wobble after seeing all the comments here and the wobble not looking so bad, but I still had a tiny gut feeling that I decided to trust and park it until I replaced it, especially since we have two other cars I could drive daily. Very glad I trusted the gut feeling because the factory balancer was in very bad shape, more than half the rubber was ripped and worn. With it now replaced I can enjoy it as my daily driver now.

Did you need to have an alignment done afterward?
Having mine replaced on Tuesday.

Instead steering rack, the installer dropped the front suspension. No mention of any alignment needed and I've been driving it and it feels fine, but I had planned on a alignment anyways regardless shortly after install. I'll update with numbers from the alignment shop if it was off afterwards.

Went to get a alignment few days ago and it was still within specs.

I'm usually not that lucky!!
Mine is 80k and had slight wobble with no chirping as you can see in the video I posted on the very first message of this thread. But am glad I replaced it, see my reply below with how bad the harmonic balancer was.

My wobble looked exactly like this not much and doesn't chirp and drives fine, did you end up replacing it?
They can get considerably worse in a short amount of time. I had a slight wobble about 5000 miles ago, looked at it when I changed my oil. Next time I checked it, it had a pretty bad wobble going on, but surprisingly wasn't making any belt noise. Took it to a shop with LS experience and he said it was getting pretty bad, had seen worse, but I need to do it ASAP.

I agree with this, below in my updated post you can see the rubber holding the inner and outer pieces is more than half torn/worn and was pretty bad, yet it didn't wobble much and didn't make any noise or chirping.

As you can see in the original post the video of my harmonic balancer it does not making any noise and it drove fine, but refer to my updated post below:

The belts started chirping in my 2007 Z06 so I confirmed the balancer wobble, and had a shop replace it with a Power Bond PB1503SS unit, along with the front seal, belts, both tensioners, and bolt. After my first track day, the A/C belt was thrown and after that was fixed, I discovered a front main seal leak after the second track day. All parts used (except balancer) were GM.
It sounds like what happened to Toxic, and he indicated possible pinched main seal.......would that indicate an installation issue? Is there an issue with the Power Bond units?
I don't want to go in there again so any suggestions would be appreciated.
btw, Toxic, how did you end up resolving your issue?

Never heard of an issue with any new replacement HB. Problem would almost have to be with the installation or just simply a defective seal. Unfortunately, you're going to have to go in there again as there's no other option (assume you're sure it's the front seal and not something else leaking). If you think about it, for it to be the HB itself it would have to be badly grooved or wobbling terribly to create a leak. Do you know if the installer put gasket seal on the outside of the new seal and lubricate the HB before inserting it into the seal?? Lack of either could possibly create a leak. Please keep us updated.
