it appears that i now have time to address replacing the cat convertor. my first quote from Midas was for $1,800 ( passenger side only )!
waiting to hear from another muffler shop. i did check on Rock Auto and, the options shown were one for around $320 ( non-California car ).
the two they had for California cars were $1,060 & $1,200!
what's it about these that they are so expensive?
while i do love having a corvette, it regularly reminds me of the joke. " how do you make a small fortune in ( fill in the blank )?
