I believe I went with the standard kit and it's definitely bright enough for me. Much, much better than OEM.

Just replaced the factory bulbs with the Vette Lights LED's, GREAT !! Much crisper and whiter. Easy to install. Got the map lights, foot wells, and trunk set.

Trust me, Cole @ Vette Lights has everything that you need, this is the very best bang for the buck, getting rid of those dingy yellow lights and replacing everything with LEDs gives your car that updated look, it's amazing how much it changes the look.

Vette-Lights.com

"forum10" gets you an instant 10% discount

Here is everything that I replaced:
Driver side visor mirror - 2x leds
Passenger side visor mirror - 2x leds
Interior map lights (rearview mirror) - 2x leds
glove box - 1x led
rear compartment - 2x leds
foot wells - 2x leds

Then on the outside Cole offers;
Brightest back up leds for backup lights - 2x leds
Brightest Fogs - 2x leds
offers leds for stock side markers - 2x leds
offers leds for stock tail lights - 2x leds
license plate lights- 2x leds
he also offers HIDs for the brights & LEDs for the lows & DLRs for the turns in the stock headlights.& very nice side marker leds

I paod 5 bucks for my LEDs off Amazon a few years and have had no issues. You guys are really overthinking it, lol.

There's only so many places that make led bulbs, and they're all in China. So whether you buy them majorly marked up from a vendor, slightly marked up on Amazon, or direct from alibaba.

I agree with Fauee that most if not all LEDs are manufactured in China and the mark ups will vary. I am a supporter of Vette-Lights and Cole offers first rate customer service. There are a lot of options out there and I have found that a company called Auxito offers quality LED bulbs. I have used these for all my conversions except Tail, Head, and Fog lights as I have not replaced them yet. Been over a year and a half and no issues and they are bright. I am definitely going to use Vette Lights for the Fogs and low/high beam bulbs. I stumbled across a company called under ground lighting that has developed a tail light and drl with built in resistors. I spoke with the owner and the tail light bulbs work flawlessly with no hyper flash. He has just made some tweaks to the DRL and has not been able to test on a C6 yet. So waiting on results before I purchase.

The resistors built in are also available from LASFIT on Amazon and eBay, which appear to be the same thing, just 20 bucks cheaper, and the underground lighting ones have a 5 cent cover glued on to make them look more premium.
