Cannot clear ABS Trouble Codes
EDIT: Sorry....title should be SRS and not ABS
I removed my passenger seat for a trip which obviously required unplugging plugs. Have done this before and Airbag light on dash went out after re-installing seat.
This last time the Airbag light will not turn off. I connected my ABS/SRS scan tool and it shows 4 active SRS DTCs...all relating to power loss at seat...which is expected. Hitting "Clear DTC from ECM" did not make them go away.
Then I connected my Tech2 scanner and have the same issue. 4 stored DTCs show up but will not allow me to erase them.
Advice?

Will bank that is just a wiring/connector problem, but without the code numbers, don't have a clue where you need to check for problems.
As for history codes, should be clearing them from the BCM module, since that is where they are stored.
DTC B0030: Passenger Front Side Deployment Loop Voltage Out of Range
DTC B0058: Passenger Front Pretensioner Deployment Loop Open
DTC B0059: Passenger Front Pretensioner Deployment Loop Voltage Out of Range
Am quite sure it is related to unplugging seat for several weeks. Fed Up....A Google search also suggested battery disconnect. Did and will check it when this rain stops.
DANO...I was on SIR/SRS screen where I confirmed if I wanted to delete DTCs. It said was communicating when I hit "yes" but they didn't go a away. I figured if I had a problem then they would at least go away and stay away until an error on a drive cycle kicked them back on again.

As for problem, would dare to guess that its at the floor connector below the seats, and may just be corroded connect pins that need to be cleaned.
I tapped it and blew on it like it was an old Atari video game cartridge. Some contact cleaner spray and a dab of dielectric grease.
The shop manual states to be cautious with the wires on that piece so am guessing was not a good idea to have the seat belt bouncing around in the car while on the road trip with seat removed.
The yellow SIR plug under the seat that you disconnect to remove seat is designed to short out the terminals when unplugged. This prevents unintentional discharge of the seatbelt pretensioner when removing the seat
The back side of this connector has a black piece that fell out during an unplug and was laying on the carpet under the seat. That piece has the tabs that do the shorting when plug is separated. It is needed as part of the connector....snapped it back in and codes cleared.
