C6 Horn Problems
Checked the fuses - the relay (which clicks when the horn button is pressed)nothing fixes it.
Wondering if anyone has other ideas before i take it to get looked at.
Thanks in advance.
I pulled the horns out, which are easy to get to from the passenger side just under where the hood is attached, down behind the front bumper. There's one electric connector and a single bolt holding the bracket that holds them. I gently cleaned the male contacts on the horns main connector with some steel wool and a flat head screw driver, then added a thin coat of dielectric grease, and plugged them back into the car harness, bolted them back in, and now it works. You can test the connector at the car side with a multimeter to make sure you get voltage to it when the horn is pressed.
