So I re-joined the forum last week after a 10 month absence. In that time I sold my 03 C5 last November and acquired a 2008 C6 Manual Z51 coupe just last week. I took the car to RK Chevorlet in Virginia Beach for an oil, diff fluid, brake fluid and clutch fluid change. The car has 3,574 miles on it and the service rep could not understand why I wanted the fluids changed. When I said it's because they are 13 years old she still did not understand. Not so sure I'll be taking this baby back to that dealership for future service.
This was a one owner garage queen that I acquired because the previous owner was buying a C8 to put in the garage.
I purchased a 2009 Z06 and did the same. All those fluid changes are not that difficult to do yourself. Although you can not change the clutch fluid. You can only dilute the clutch fluid by using the Ranger method routinely.
You forgot about the power steering fluid and the coolant.
There are service writers who know their stuff, and those that don't. Next time you go in, get a different service writer. That gal will learn in time that many owners know better than she does what they want done to their car.

Problem with service writers is that they are trained to be robots. Every car to them are Civics and the service required is just numbers (i.e. they only look at mileage not the age). But I digress. I would probably find a good Corvette shop around town that you can take your car to in the future. Anywho....congrats on the low mileage find. Enjoy the ride and dont forget the
