07 c6 push button start problem.
I get In the car and push the green button and quick tap the Acc. Button and it starts. If I hold the Acc. Button it goes to off. (Red light)
also do hear a relay clicking in the center of the dash when pushing the start button, but no start.

First off, you should check the battery connections, clean them up with sandpaper, add dielectric grease, then assuring they are tight.
You can also check the connections at the starter, and the ground there, to make sure they are clean and tight.
After checking the above, if the start button is still hit and miss, it could be the start button itself.
In a simplified circuit description, the brake(AT) or clutch(MT) has to be pushed , then the start button completes the circuit to send a signal to the starter relay coil which will supply voltage to latch starter relay to put voltage to the starter motor, and start the car.
Here is the starting circuit schematic.
Good Luck
I reset the PCM. Then tested the relay and it was good. Put it back in the car and the starter engaged immediately, even though the fob was out of range. .Every light and accessory in the car comes on and stays on.
I had aftermarket 2 watt LED signal flashers in the car for over a year with no problems, but I replaced them with old school incandescent today just to be sure that those aren’t actively causing mayhem .
GM service bulletins rail against anything aftermarket so much that it’s almost a parody, but In my experience, they aren’t just blowing smoke all the time. Much of it is dead on, so leds might be the culprit, but…
The other factor is my wife, who thought it would be a good idea to clean the accordion style conduits that house the door to the chassis, using a hard stream from the hose. Not a pressure washer, thank god, but it might have done the same amount of damage.
still sleuthing
