Advanced
Not exactly what I'm looking for but if this car was closer to me, I'd seriously consider looking at it...
2006 Base, Z51, 6M, LeMans Blue, 60k miles, Clean Title, no reported wrecks, appears stock... $22,500
Looks like this private seller may have bought it for an advertised price of $22,999 back in July of 2019 with 45k miles...
Case-and-point, there's going to be relativity decent deals like this that pop up. Just got to be patient.

Burning Brakes
Sold the 2019 C7 Z51 for 55k with 14k miles used the money for down on my new Motorhome about 4 months ago. I’ve been looking for a C6 Vert for the last month. Found 2011 C6 Vert 3LT preferred equipment with Mag ride 14k plus miles for 39k

I have been out of the game a bit and just recently have been looking at c5z and c6 pricing. Wow are people out of their minds???!!!! I have never in my life seen prices so high. Are people actually paying these inflated prices or are these cars just sitting. Once these prices come back down to earth people are going to be upside down in their vettes.

Intermediate
Diving back into Corvette ownership after my BMW M6 convertible bit the big one - drowned in the Great Arizona Deluge of 2021...<crying> - came across this 2013 GS with only 7600 miles and couldn't resist getting rid of the interim Edge ST (too big and two too many doors!) in favor of this beauty. Just picked it up tonight and already hoping I can get out this weekend into the mountains without fighting too much holiday traffic.
Love the 1-of-25 Inferno Orange!!!

Burning Brakes
Mine wasn't as absurd as the $14k offer, but I still wouldn't even consider letting my '11 GS 3LT 6M go for this low. The other '11 GS 3LT's with low mileage are listed over $40k. I believe they should make a profit but not $10k. Doesn't matter, I don't plan on selling - just checked for the fun of it.

Drifting
Because of the high prices, in April 2021, I purchased a totaled 2007 C-6, and rebuilt it myself. New tires, brakes, used fenders, hood, and front "bumper"......Decided to go all out and installed an A & A supercharger kit, ported and polished Z06 heads and cam. Lots of work, especially in the summer in Phoenix (it was hot to say the least, but my portable A/C unit did help). Accomplished all of this in my extra with the car single car garage on jack stands, and a LOT of up and down with bad knees....ugh! However, it was worth every minute of work, especially when you have that boost available! Total investment is $23K.......yes it's a rebuild title, but I don't care one bit......it's a great deal of fun!

It's true that the prices of certain Corvette models, including the C5 Z06 and C6, have increased in recent years. This is partly due to the popularity of these models among collectors and enthusiasts, as well as the limited supply of well-maintained examples. However, it's important for buyers to be cautious and do their research here https://www.kereta.shop/ before paying an inflated price for a car. It's possible that some sellers are asking for more than what the car is worth, and buyers should be wary of overpaying for a car that may not hold its value over time. As with any major purchase, it's important to do your due diligence and negotiate a fair price based on the car's condition and market value.
