I use the one sold by NCM and it's been great. I plug mine in any time I know the Vette will sit for than a few days. It was a gift or I wouldn't have spent that much on one myself. Cheaper ones will work just fine, some of which are listed above.

I use the same ground post, but use a Schumacher onboard battery charger/maintainer. I routed my cable to the passenger fender vent, no need to open the hood as well.

I'm using a 4 Amp Dewalt that I got from home depot. Has a hook built in so you can hang it up .

I went with the CTEK 40-206 MXS 5.0

I also bought a comfort indicator cigarette plug and extension cable.

I will mount the unit in my garage by the center electrical outlet. I will use the extension cord, and plug the unit into the cigarette lighter.

When I go for a drive, I will just disconnect the cigarette lighter and stow the cord.

Thank you for all the recommendations.

Deltran for me as well. I have had it so long, I can’t put a date on it. Works flawlessly

I also have a Noco Genius5 as well as some of the other brands mentioned. They are all good, but what I like about the Noco is that it automatically detects and executes when a desulphide cycle is needed.

I've been using battery tenders for decades. Deltran Battery Tender Plus and Jr are 2 that I've owned the longest and has been absolutely reliable for my motorcycles. The Plus is 1.5amp and the Jr is 0.75amp.

The one I use the most now is a Battery Minder. It can desulfate a battery with a patented pulse signal as it charges. It revived a dying battery from my F150 truck that the Battery Tender couldn't do.

Avoid commercial battery tenders, they will disappoint, die, smoke and waste your time. Any 5$ float charger will achieve the same results.
