Default Wind Restrictor

When I have my seat tilt back lever all the way back my seat rubs with wind restrictor. Any suggestions?

Mine does the same, either don't tilt it all the way back or slide the seat forward a little.

Yeah it is a real question ... The only stupid one is your remark ... HATE forum BS

OK ... I have the SAME problem ... I've come up with 2 solutions. I'll put the links below for the products I bought

Currently I have this setup

This a soft silicon disk that takes the crush of the seat to the wind restrictor. It works pretty damn good.

I also tried and MIGHT prefer my other solutions. Went on amazon and bought both 1/8 & 1/4 inch thick foam adhesive squares - and they work great.
Neither are visible with the top down and the back of the seat is black anyway.
Best I could come up with ... and both of my solutions are cheap

Clear silicon door stoppers

Foam pads

Hope that helps a little

Driving around topless. Tired of getting blown. Windschotts! Unwanted rubbing. Need answer.

What's not to understand?

. The simple solution. Don’t lean the seat all the way back

I have the same issue and contacted Windrestrictor about it since the plexiglass was starting to get a rub mark on it as well as the seat leather at the point of contact. Windrestrictor sent me 2 square self adhesive patches of a fabric like 'mouse fur' that I applied and it worked to eliminate the squeeking and the rub blemish. I will eventually rework the mounting brackets to relocate the WR further back since I've done a mock up and can see no issue with relocating it.
As for not moving the seat as far back some of us are hindered by our dimensions and unless the seat is at the extremity of rear position end up having the top of our head directly in the airflow coming over the top of the windshield when the top is down even when the seat is fully lowered. That extra bit of backward lean is just enough to get my head out of the airstream.

Thanks for the information. I called Windrestrictor today and they are sending out pads. That should do the trick.
