Default Front Fascia adjustable

Is there a way to adjust the front fascia to get a better fit and finish with the quarters and hood?
Right now the gap is not even and stands proud in other areas.
Thanks

It all starts with your front fenders being aligned first. There are abut 7-8 torx screws along the hood edge and under the windshield cowling. Loosen these an align the fenders to the get your hood gaps straight.
The front facia starts with the 4 bolts on the front by the air filter - that is the base for the front facia alignment and really starts the facia alignment. There really isn't any alignment to these 4 - it is where the facia hangs first when you put it back on and clips into place.

Next pull the front wheel well liners & you will find 2x 10mm nuts that can be loosened where the fenders & facia are tied together right next to the headlights. The fit to the fenders can be adjusted (there is enough play to fit to the fenders, there are a couple of connection points underneath the facia (2x) 10mm nuts and I think 4 screws that can be loosened to let the facia be aligned correctly, The main adjustments will be on (2x) 10mm nuts that are part of the fender/facia bracket that ties the facia to fenders together.

Get it up on jack stands and you will see how easily it is to loosen and align all of these body panels.

Good Luck,
BMF

PS. Trust me it's not hard at all - I took all the panels & doors off and had them all painted and put them all back on without any issues. You can do it!!

There are 7-8x torx screws you can loosen to align the fenders to the hood. There is enough play to move and tighten them where you want,

You can remove #8 to get to the screws that hold the rear part of the fenders in line to align to the doors.

The last one on top by the windshield requires to pull the cowling to get to.

#5 will stay with the fender and is actually a bracket, if you look close to the picture you will see the 2 studs that the nuts bolt to.

There are screws underneath that do not have to be removed to pull the front facia - there are 4x nylon rivets that you pull on each side of the air intake to the radiator along with removing the the ambient air temp sensor that protrudes into that duct on the passenger side. It actually is mounted to a bracket that holds the horns which is mounted to the lower radiator support. Be sure to put painters tape on the hood and the facia to protect both if you plan to totally remove the facia.

Don't go too far like I did the first time - the front facia can be removed as a whole unit, like I said above there are a couple of screws that don't have to be removed underneath that will keep the whole facia in one whole unit. If you go that far you will see what I am talking about.

There is only a couple of electrical connections, side markers & fogs & removing the air temp sensor. I am trying to remember if you have to disconnect the 2x air bag front impact sensors - they are the yellow ones with the special connectors that you have to pull the tab out to be able to disconnect but that is about it electrically.

Good luck guys!!!
