Default Check engine light. 2012 Vette

Hello everyone,

just purchased my first corvette a 2012 2LT. Love the car! I have had the car for about 30 days and the car threw a check engine light. P0301 and P0201. Changed the coil pack and spark plug. Old spark plug was not burnt. Cleared the code and it came back. Tested spark in cylinder one and there is spark. What else could it be? Battery was recently changed. Car has 90K miles and is my daily driver. Any input would be appreciated!

So P0301 is a cylinder #1 misfire.

P0201 is a Cylinder #1 Injector problem. (ECM has detected a malfunction with the cylinder 1 injector circuit. This code indicates out-of-range performance was detected in the operation of cylinder 1 injector circuit.) I expect that a new Fuel Injector for Cyl #1 might be a good plan... I suppose you could try a good dose of Fuel Injector cleaner - but typically - the PCM only responds to an electrical problem with the injector - not a spray pattern problem. You might want to pull the electrical connector for Injector #1 and a couple of other injectors, and check the resistance across the the terminals, but honestly - I would just replace the injector and see what happens.

GOOD LUCK !!!
