Memory Failure
It started with the Navigation Unit: it would not save into memory a trip. Every time you shut it down, it would
lose/erase all the settings.
Now, it will not save the memory settings for the seat, etc. When you start it and press 1, nothing moves.
Is this a failure of the computer module in the floorboard of the passenger seat compartment?
Need some help.
Thank you

The fix was to do a cold reboot, then the relearn procedure for the seat, mirrors, and steering wheel, and then reset all the the memory positions. That was 2 -3 yrs ago, so far it hasn't acted up again. If you do need to replace the memory module, aka driver position module, it's attached to the seat bottom.
And of course the first step is to make sure the battery is good & system voltage is where it needs to be, check the usual connectors & grounds, yada yada yada.
As far as the radio memory, that may be a different issue. Or not. If the radio does not get the correct driver 1/driver 2 info from the memory module, it won't know what station pre sets or saved Nav locations to display. Those are specific to each driver and are not necessarily the same
