Has anyone bought the Morimoto XB LED headlights and tail lights ? Are the headlights really bright ? Do you like them ?

I’d suggest hitting that search button up in the corner. Tons of threads on this.

Right now I have HID 6000k. I love the color and brightness but hate they have to "warm up". Do u think I should just replace the bulbs to LED 6000k ? Ty

Very popular modification for the C6, one of our best sellers. Worth it in my opinion. Updates the car a lot.

I have the Morimoto tails and they're excellent. I don't have the Morimoto headlights but I recently installed the GTR C8-style lights and their performance is on par with Morimoto. The difference is night and day - pun intended. I can see soooooo much further and wider at night. The problem with the OEM C6 headlights is the projector itself is a pretty poor design. The very best bulb in a crappy projector is still going to emit crappy light.

Converting to an LED bulb will omit the warm-up time but will not drastically improve output or beam pattern.
For an improvement in output, you'd need a new projector such as our c7-style or c8-style headlight assemblies.

I have only the XB headlights and I live in the city. For around town where they are bright street lights and tons of other cars around, the output is worse for me vs OEM. XB headlights has a much wider beam pattern so the light isn't as strong I find. The color of the output makes it seem like it's brighter but usable light no. I would say these headlights are good in less light pollution areas where it's usable being a wider beam pattern. I am thinking of selling mine cuz of my purpose. I will say they look amazing on a C6.
