My 2013 base coupe (33,000) miles will be 10 years old next year. Aside from oil changes all of the fluids have never been changed. I reached out to a local shop that specializes in Corvettes and his price is as follows:
1. Mobil1 oil and filter $68.98
2. Brake Fluid Exchange, Bleed & Refill $168.96
3. Differential Fluid Exchange $148.90
4. Complete Coolant Exchange $230.59
5. Automatic Transmission Fluid Service $500.48 (includes filter and gasket)
6. Power Steering Fluid Exchange $194.53
$1,409.48 total (includes fees & taxes)
Is this a good price for everything?
Look at the Maintenance section of your owner's manual, pages 11-5 and 11-6. It says the automatic transmission fluid should be changed every 97,500 miles.
There's nothing here you can't do yourself with a little skill and reading up on how. If you're really not willing, somewhere around half to 60% of that number would be right!!! Run the other direction.

Too high....and I am having mine done in January....My chevy dealer does the coolant for 129 and oil change with mobil synthetic is 55...all those others are off the charts too high....imo The power steering you could do with turkey baster for ten bucks...Transmission seems crazy high too... I have a stick but I am guessing about 700 for all of it...

Like me i'm guessing he's worried about the time more than the miles....its a nine year old car.
I understand why you want to change these fluids and 10 years with 33k miles seems to be a long time. Reading through the maintenance schedule for my 2013, the following are due.
2. Brake Fluid Exchange, Bleed & Refill $168.96 - Now due based on time. Be sure they can electronically enable the ABS system to perform a full fluid change. 3. Differential Fluid Exchange $148.90 - Not needed unless you have a leak or hear unusual noises in the diff. Be sure they use the recommended GM gear oil. 4. Complete Coolant Exchange $230.59 - Past due using the 5-year method for change, but the pricing seems to be high. 5. Automatic Transmission Fluid Service $500.48 (includes filter and gasket) - Not needed. 6. Power Steering Fluid Exchange $194.53 - Not needed.
Now you should have some extra funds to use on mods.
Drive safe, have fun & don't forget to wave to fellow Vette drivers.
I bought my C6 new in 2005 and I am also ready to do fluid changes (26,000 miles). I'm thinking flush the brake fluid (I can and have done that - simple) and flush coolant (never done that. I change oil every year or 1000 miles whichever comes first. It's an automatic so I'm not sure the tranny fluid and filter needs to be replaced with only 26,000 miles - but almost 17 years? Any recommendations?
I would say that is lot high, you better check around including your local Chevrolet dealership and if you have another dealership I bet there prices will be different.
[QUOTE=ptroxx;1604422175]sorry dude but 600 for all those fluids changed and time charged. And a HB repair. I call BS. Welcome to the forum./QUOTE]
ptroxx..."Dude"....where did you get $600? The estimate for the fluids was $1400. The person you are replying to said his work was $100 more, or $1500, not $600.

ah crap. Totally missed that all the way at the bottom Lolol. Man do I feel stupid now. Lolol.
Divide by 2 if you are experienced to do it yourself. Most of these jobs are easy to do especially on a base car. Divide by 4 for the brakes and the coolant.
Although I would not want to do an auto transmission fluid change. The manual is easy.
The power steering fluid is the most overlooked fluid change. It is not hard to do if you know the tricks.
And of course the oil change would be materials only.
I recently did these fluid changes for a friend of mine who owns a 2009 base coup auto.
