So, you can ask for a reproduction? How much does that cost?

Window stickers are $8 if you order one from Monroney Labels. https://monroneylabels.com

You can get a PDF copy of your build sheet for free if you send an email to socialmedia@gm.com with your VIN and name requesting a one.

....or.... you can get a window sticker and build sheet from the Corvette Museum for one hundred and something dollars. Pick your poison...

FWIW - Neither the Monrony or CM window sticker is an exact copy of the one your car came with, both are reproductions.

Thanks for the concise and complete answer. I did all the above for my C7 but had forgotten what I did. Now I need one for my C6!

Unfortunately GM no longer provides the build sheet this way. I tried to get one for my 2015 Colorado and received an email stating they no longer offer this service.

I purchased my 2011 GS new, and the first thing I did was to put the window sticker in a safe-dry place and save it ... If I ever trade the car in, or sell it outright, I will place the window sticker in the car for the next owner.

Why other original owners of these cars don't save the window sticker and pass it on with the car for the next guy is something I just can't figure out ... how difficult is that to do ?

For the extra $$, the museum is the way to go. You get a reproduction and support the museum at the same time. If you get to visit the NCM you’ll appreciate wHat your “donation” is used for and enjoy the exhibits, cruise in’s, etc.
