Looking to sell our 2013 C6 in a month or so. What’s the best resource to establish a price. I’ve looked at the forum classifieds but most listings are for performance models or older cars. We have a base model. Who is using what to establish a price?
I didn’t want to turn this into an ad but it’s a 2013 2LT, automatic, leather seat trim and performance exhaust. Arctic White with Cashmere interior. <20K miles. Car is in Tampa. I’m sure I’ll post the car in the forum once I establish a price. We are in the last month or two of an already one year wait for a C8 thanks in 3000 status at the factory. Don’t want to sell too early but I also don’t want to own two Corvettes, as nice as that sounds. Used car prices are wacky now and I’m just trying to figure out what’s right.
If it is base, one owner, and near-pristine, I would say $36 to $38K. That may be on the high side, but you don't have to sell it immediately, so you have some time to adjust if you get no response. The low miles are helpful. Good luck!
Just keep in mind that sources like KBB and such, have not been adjusted for the current inflation/lack of cars to sell to the market, so such will be way lower in actual market value by thousands of dollars currently. So if anyone is trying to low ball you by using such sources to buy the car, then just remind them that will find no cars for sale at or under such prices currently to being with. Also, your talking corvettes that are produced in limited amounts/very few up for sale now as well, so make the market price of the vet even more valuable as well.

Get quotes from Carvana, carmax, vroom. Go to your dealer and get them to quote you a trade in price. Put it online for 5k over the highest offer non negotiable, and if people don't give you the "I will gladly pay full price" feeling, don't waste time with them. If someone buys it before then at that high price, great, if not, trade to dealer for tax benefits, or sell to one of the other dealers.
