On two occasions while making a left turn at slower speeds ( turning into a parking lot) my daughter says it felt like her steering locked for a second and one of the times the service traction control light came on briefly. Its a 2007 C6,Z51 with 75k miles. She said she may have accidentally hit the traction control button, but not sure.
Any help?

could rpms be dropping for a split second almost stalling, I think it happened in my 07 one or two times

I frequently have a similar problem at the first intersection after leaving my house. I have to stop for oncoming traffic. There is a rather deep dip that collects water run off from the cross street. There is something about starting out with my front wheels turned on that depression that makes it feel like I am not going anywhere and causes the "traction control off" display on the DIC. It's kind of hard to describe.
