Theft Control

Ask me how I know!!

Take a look at most stolen car lists on line. Corvettes are not on them. Pick up trucks, Accords and Camrys need to worry. Not guys with old Corvettes.

This, since unless they have a Fob that is programmed to the car, it's not going to be started and driven away. (why most that are stolen are flat bedded away).
Note, the reason when you do get a used vet, you have all the Fobs in the RCDLR erased, and only the fobs you have in hand programmed back to the RCDLR. unless you still have payments on the car from some shady car dealer, make sure that is doe not have tracking/ignition kill devices on it as well.
Really, the better option is to have a place that you park it to keep it out of the public hands (home garage), since its more likely to be vandalized and damaged from some low life, then someone breaking into it to steal something from it instead. If the game plan is to park it on the street, or in the open like a car park that is not secure over night, then your just asking for vandalized problems to start with.
And the pisser, when someone does vandalize the car, make sure you have full coverage insurance on the car, since it does not take much damage to one before the insurance company just rights it off as totaled isntead.
