LED Interior Lights
Changed out the map and hatch lights today.
Question about the footwell lights.
I’ve watch a couple of YouTube videos - different “how to” guides for swapping out the footwell lights.
One says you have to drop the panel in order to push out the light housing.
The other says you can simply pry out the housing (my assumption is it’s much like removing the hatch housing).
Would rather not drop the panel if I don’t have to.
As always, appreciate your collective help!!

Much easier to simply pop out the housing.
Enjoying a Heineken now after getting the map and hatch lights in without breaking anything!
Will tackle the footwell lights tomorrow.

Yea they pop out and the panel does not have to be removed.
Once you get these done and see how bright and white the lights are, open the glove box and vanity mirror lights and see how yellow they are.
Will need to get socket loose from glove box to change that one.
The vanity mirrors are a absolute bitch.

Replaced my footwells and maplights with Lasfit leds 194/T10. Footwells are easy, maplights you can use a zip tie to remove led bulbs
Cargo/ Hatch bulbs are also easy but sun visors are a pain.

Did the map and hatch lights earlier today.
Footwell, while not necessarily difficult, does look a bit more involved.
Did you just pop the light out or did you lower the panel.
