BigAl as said above there was not an option for a camera on any c6. I couldn’t figure out why it was lacking on such a high end car. But mine is a 2012. Ten years ago no one thought you would want or need a camera. Times change and we all got old and can use any help we can get,,, that is why most of us change out the head unit. Not only for the cameras but all the other stuff we must have today. bluetooth, apple car play etc. . I just put a new to me Kenwood in my c6 that plays dvd’s. Will I ever use it. Not a chance but maybe my kids will when I die and they fight over who gets the car. Search the forum about swapping it out. Not very difficult. The hardest part right now is finding a unit. Start with Crutchfields. Lots of help out here
The C6 comes with a factory installed backup camera. For some reason it just stopped working when put in reverse.
I will let the dealer, deal, with it. thanks

You won't like what your dealer is going to tell you.

No it doesn't. The only way a camera was on your car if it was added after the fact. Taking it to a dealer will do you no good, other than getting embarrassed by them telling you the same thing we did.
My mistake. I looked at the window sticker and it does not show a BU camera. There is one installed. Maybe just a loose connection. I was working with the trunk adjustment. This is my first real corvette. The only other one I owned was matchbook. thanks all
Most backup cameras have a coax then just power and ground. Alot of times the are taped up together, I'm thinking the coax was not secure and when u pulled on a panel I came unplugged from the pig tail or u pulled the ground wire out. Like the others said I would start t\s where I was last.
Just a side comment here. It is a sign of the times when we have become so dependent on back-up cameras and blind spot mirrors. Both of these items are great safety features, how did we get along for so many years with them.

So true. While I do not have one in the Vette I do have one in my truck. I tow boats and trailers and this is the single best innovation ever for being able to get hitched without a helper or getting in and out of the truck to see how close you are.
