It sounds like a metallic rubbing or grinding noise. You will hear it mostly when turning sharper corners.

No. It’s a metallic click whenever changing from forward to reverse or vice versa.

Problem is, if someone used the wrong diff fluid, diffs clutch packs could not be flushing correctly, and you get that chatter noise from the LSD clutch packs instead .

So tires on the ground, torque wrench set to 125ft llbs, check the axle nuts to begin with to see if they are tight.
Then one rear tire up at a time and trans in gear and front wheels chocked (park if auto), set the torque wrench to 100ftlbs, and see if you can use the axle nut to spin the tire, since the break away value of the LSD clutch pack's each side should be 100ft lbs.

As for more bump related, the sway bar end links last about 30K before they gets loose, and start to make clacking noise as well.

Short of that, one of the exhaust hangers gave up, and your hearing the exhaust rattle of what is not suppose to isntead.

Didn't know that about being able to test the breakaway threshold for the clutch packs...good stuff!

Re wheel bearings, besides the obvious testing the torque on axle nuts, how about lifting the corner and grabbing the tire vertically and trying to wiggle it...see if there's any play? and if so, have someone see where its coming from (ball joint, a bushing...or the bearing...it can be visible easily)
