This is a photo of the fuse box located in my C6 '09 Z51. It looks nothing like the the fuse box pictured in the owners manual. Anyone else have a fuse box like this? Could it be because it is a 3LT or a Z51? Or could it have been modified by an earlier owner? (FYI- car bought from a dealer and I am unable to trace the previous owner). This fusebox is located inside of my '09 Z51. It looks nothing like the fuse box picture in the owners manual. Anyone else have a fuse box like this, or could it be like the due to be a 3LT? Thanks
The component in your picture is actually the Body Control Module. The BCM does have several fuses on it though, as you can see. Maybe your owner's manual is referring to the fuse box that is located under the hood, on the passenger side of the car.
This is normal. Most cars have the primary fuse box in the engine bay and a secondary inside the passenger compartment. Looks like you have an accessory add-on connecting a mild-2-wild receiver. Does your car have the NPP exhaust option that has valves just above two of the exhaust pipes in the rear (check for the NPP RPO code on the sticker in the glove box)? Did the car come with transmitters? The transmitter has 2 buttons to select full-time open exhaust or return to factory controlled where the exhaust opens when you hit 2500-3000 rpm.

Nope the owners book picture says its the the inside box. I also have picture of the engine fuse box. The owners book shows both fuse boxes, and locations.
I didnt get the cars owners manual. I did get two copies of the Navi system though LOL.
While I have your attention could you tell me what the positive end of the battery cable looks like? I am assuming that one is to the starter and the other one to the fuse box. Or are there more pigtail connected at that end? Maybe another one to the inside fuse box? There must be something more to this battery cable is what makes them so hard to find. I have been waiting for a new one from the dealer for about 7 weeks now. If its not too complicated maybe I can find a shop who can make one.
Thanks
Thanks, that clears up a lot for me. Yes, I had found the mild to wild connection and have two remotes for it. Everyone should have one of these, makes the 5.0 boys take notice.
Walk in the park, and the fuses that you can see, are on the BCM module. What you are not seeing for fuses, since the covers are still on them, just below the BCM is another fuse box, and if you look at the red connector wires, another fuse box with cover as well.
Better photo of the bottom/side fuse boxes with the covers removed.
