Default Well...I finally did it....

After a long search and a long time of looking and scanning the "C6 for sale forum" and all the sales sites I could find (for a year or so), I finally did it. Was able to pick up a 2012 Grand Sport, 42,000 miles April 7. Other than some paint correction (hazy clearcoat) on the upper panels, it's in really good shape (made the trip from Houston to S AL like a champ). So happy I finally am in the family. I sure hope to contribute to the forum. I feel like a 59 year old kid! Every now and then, I wonder if I did the right thing...then I start it up and all doubts are gone!

Unique blue. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that blue on a Vette somehow. She looks nice. Enjoy!

Congrats! Welcome to the club. Love that Carlisle Blue! Never question your decision to buy a Vette. Question why it took you so long! 😁

Carlisle blue is such a rare color and they say people didn't like it but then you see threads like this and everyone likes it. Something doesn't add up. I have JSB and would love CB

This is after I picked it up in TX. The shade ranges from almost silver to a darker blue, according to how the light hits it.

There's a reason it's such a 'rare' color...and it's not just that it was a one year only color. I'm not a fan of the color but...it's not my car!

Fine looking C6 Grand Sport. Welcome to the forum and post often. Enjoy the ear-to-ear smile every time you get into the seat and wave to the other Corvette owners you meet on the road.

Really nice looking car! I had an e39 M5 in that relative shade of blue, so I'm heavily biased!

Congrats. Great color and wheels. Nothing wrong with a6. And you are a youngster compared to me when I got mine.
