I’d appreciate any help I can get looking to get a new setup of wheels for my base c6. In specific forgestar d5 I’m gonna run an 18x12 in the rear as I have the rear z06 fender but for the front I still have the narrow body base fenders. I see they have skinnies available but not my thing as it’ll be more street use. The only size I’m seeing other then skinnies is an 18x8 +15 will this even work ? even be willing to run a bit of a smaller tire on them as I’m currently running 18x9.5 up front with a smaller tire and they fit perfect stock z06 sizes
Plug into this calculator the size of your stock wheels along with the stock wheels offset .. and then the wheel size and offset of what you want to install.
The calculator will tell you how far the new wheel will be from the suspension and how far the wheel will either stick out or be pulled back in from the wheel well opening.
Try different offsets for your aftermarket wheels and pick something that fits properly in comparison to your stock wheels.
