Took a look at the date code on Michelin Sports.
Tires are dated October 2017.
4.5 years - maybe 5,000 mi.
I know date is more important than miles - time to start considering replacements?
Watch for signs of cracking in the rubber and/or excessive sliding & traction loss in the rears. Personally, I wouldn't see the need to change them until you either experience the former indications or 7 years on the car.
It is gargaged - problem is I live in south Florida. Garage gets very hot (I keep saying I've got to install an mini split AC but haven't yet).
No cracking - rubber looks good. Concern though is what I don't see.
I don't think ambient heat adversely affects tires that much, if any. It's the UV from sunlight that does the damage. Look at RV parks and you'll see many of the snowbirds will have their tires covered to protect them from the sunlight.
I think you're fine at your current time/mileage. Definintely install the mini-split. I've got a Mr. Cool 18k system ready to install for my garage. It says its a DYI install but you still need a certified electrician to run the power for the warranty to remain valid. Install is very simple as I installed the same system for my in-laws last weekend.

Just went through the same situation.
tires were 5 years old. Had plenty of rubber left.
but they start to get hard. And lose traction.
always garaged.
If it was me I’d change them soon.
You're good for a few more years where you live and how its kept....drive that beautiful machine. I put 15 k on goodcraps that were 9 years old. Michelin are better tires through and though imo...
My car sits in a basement garage most of the time; cool and no UV exposure. I will start looking at them more closely at 8 years or when I can tell they are getting hard due to traction loss. I can't tell any traction difference yet and they are at 6.5 years now.
Good to hear that the general consensus is that I’m good for the foreseeable future.
Performance wise they still drive like new.
Thought heat was the biggest issue - learned that it’s not the heat, but the UV rays.
As always, forum guidance and knowledge is appreciated!
Thanks guys - Jab - going to check that split out!
Got it on sale on Amazon last week. My garage gets up to about 120 degrees in the summer which makes it a real P.I.T.A. to do any work out there, plus the heat will affect the leather dash in both my car & my wife's. I don't necessarily want to pull my dash again to fix the leather separating.
While the tire will be "fine" if kept in doors. It will still harden and therefore have less traction than new tires. I bought my 07 back around 2014, still had the original tires (dated 06) with plenty of tread. The damn *** end got loose on me just going through a roundabout.
Replaced them a couple years ago. Huge difference...
