my LS2 motor is shot.

so I have ordered a 490hp LS3 crate engine.

My car is a 2006 C6 with the LS2 and 6L80E.

Anyone have a complete list of items needed to be done, with them swap?

I know the
intake is different
maf sensor

what else? Anyone done it?

I did this a few months ago. Not much really. I just used the sensors from the old motor, though I had previously switched to an Ls3 style maf by repinning the correct connector for it. I also didn’t know that the oil pressure sensor was different on the motor i bought that came out of a camaro so I swapped my old one over and run it like that. It does not wire up to a c6.

outside of that, a c6 oil pan if it doesn’t already come with.

 

Should've built a stroker out of the LS2.

 

perhaps op is like me and blew a hole out both sides of the block and out the bottom on their ls2.
