So my c6 has the slowest throttle response of any car I have ever driven, it kind of takes the fun out of it. Yes I know it doesn't add HP but it makes the car feel a lot more lively with a faster TC response. I bought the Soler because of its tiny footprint and Bluetooth, works perfectly, no CEL. For settings during DD, Sport 3-5 work great. Ludicrous is exactly that, insane on the street. This TC really upped the enjoyment of the c6 immensely. I know you can have it tuned but its already tuned and didn't want to go refresh it just to not be happy with it, etc.
I'm currently running a Soler. I used to have a Vitesse but it would occasionally start throwing codes and you would have to recalibrate the Vitesse to get it to stop. The Soler is much simpler and the Bluetooth interface is nice. I've been running Sport 4 and 5, eventually I'll probably find the number I like most and never change it again.
I have a manual, but I don't really see how that would make a difference.
As the vette comes from GM, when the pedal is depressed 50%, the throttle is only open about 30%. By adding a throttle controller you can remap the throttle to mimic the old throttle cable and carburetor setup so when the pedal is depressed 50% the the throttle is open 50% (or whatever else you desire).
In my humble opinion, it really does make the car more enjoyable to drive and they are cheap in the grand scheme of owning a Corvette.

As with my auto, shifting is partially dictated by throttle tip in, with an aggressive change to the TC, it will downshift sooner if you aren’t careful with pedal modulation depending on setting, especially if you’re just daily driving.
Guys, are your rave reviews about using the Soler TC with stock throttle body? Looking at older discussions, the combination of Soler PTB and TC seems optimal, but prices have gone up a lot since those discussions. I have a 2012 GS CE auto and am looking for more acceleration response while in motion (like above a few MPH), not off-idle from stop. Will the TC alone do the trick? Thanks.

TC will effect it from the moment you move the accel pedal all through the full throttle movement.
Will it make it more difficult to control slow movement of the car (w/automatic trans), like when inching up to a parking block? I have a sloped driveway that requires a very slow snaking maneuver to avoid scraping the air dam and front splitter.

Google Soler Engineering, then you can read about their TC, it’s functions, all settings in Each mode is has available.
Thanks. Yeah, I read everything on their website about their DLX Bluetooth TC and the chart shows settings with higher slope (versus OEM) all the way down to zero pedal movement (though the real behavior might not be perfectly linear in the region of very small displacement and low speed). But thinking about it made me realize if controlling slow speed were to become an issue, I could whip out the phone and temporarily change the TC setting to the OEM curve. So no concern now.
Still would like to know if many of the people reporting very positive results with the TC are using it alone or with the PTB.
I think the answer to the throttle controller is you hear 20 positives to every one negative, and half the negatives are from those who have never actually used one. YMMV

The answer is yes, with a couple of qualifications. It depends on what level throttle setting you decide you like. I have a Vitesse and use SP4. I find this eliminates the laggy throttle response without making the tip-in overly sensitive; it's very similar to a cable driven throttle. Even if you select SP9 (highest setting) you quickly "learn" the throttle tip-in and know how to control it.
Reporting back: installed he Soler TC today (2012 GS CE auto) and drove it around in everyday driving scenarios (in town and short/medium freeway hops, set to sport-5). It's much more satisfying- feels like what a Corvette should be about! Gets into higher RPMs and the associated engine music much more often and feels more natural. Before this I would have to deliberately step into it just to get the thrill once in a while. For the type of driving I do every week it's a big increase in fun factor. My earlier concern about being able to control the car at very low speed (to navigate my sloped driveway w/o scraping the air dam) was not a problem. The response at very low pedal displacement feels the same as before (it was set to sport-5).
A note on installation: what worked for me was to take the gas pedal off (via two 13mm bolts) to make it easier to disconnect the wiring harness from the pedal. The connector has a locking piece with a tab that needs to be depressed while pulling out the locking piece. Before I took the pedal off I couldn't see the tab or how to unlock it. The rest of the installation was easy. I routed the wire under the interior trim pieces and put the controller/display in the center console.
I have the Soler performance TC, but I haven't installed it yet because it's still winter here.
I just ordered the PTB. Not sure which one I should install first or both at once.
