Default Reading Lights

Today when I got home, I noticed my reading lights on the bottom of the rearview mirror are staying on. Any Ideas why they won't turn off?

If you put a windshield cover/sun shield in today you may have bumped the buttons on bottom of mirror.?

Ask me how I know

Have you replaced the bulbs with LEDs. Some LEDs will stay on after the ignition is turned off. If you purchased the car used the previous owner may have replaced them. Also check the **** on the left side of the steering column to be certain you did not push it in which would cause the interior lights to remain on.
If they don't go off on their own after 5 minuets I would suspect you have LEDs.

I think you may have bumped the dash dimmer button low and left of steering wheel, give it a single press, happens to me a lot.

YES!!! Thanks, I've had this car 13 years and over that time learned all these lessons. The problem is I just don't drive it as much as used too. Thanks again!
