ABS and scanner question
I haven't been on here much over the last couple years as the 2005 has not had any issues at all.......until today. I left for work today and as I was turning left at an intersection, I felt the car pull a bit to the left and at the same time I got a "Service Active Handling" message on the DTC. I turned the traction control off with the console button for a few minutes and then turned it back on with no further issues. Car sat at work for 8 hours, and as I was leaving for home I got the big three on the DTC (Service Traction Control, Service Active Handling and Service ABS) after moving the car about 50 feet. I cleared them off the DTC but the ABS light and Traction Control lights stayed on.
I'm going to pull the wheels this weekend and clean and check the wheel speed sensor connections, but after that if the problem persists, I want to scan the car to find what the specific issue is without just throwing parts at it. I know this issue can be caused by anything from a loose connection all the way up a bad EBCM. Soooo, without spending hundreds of dollars or getting a Tech 2 clone that I will probably rarely if ever use, is there a scan tool that will be able to point me in the right direction to fix this issue. If not, does anyone who has had this issue have a good step by step troubleshooting guide they could point me to so I can find the fault and fix it. Many thanks!!
In addition to my Tech 2, I like my Autel unit for all my vehicles. Less than 90 bucks.

I love it.
That being said this would also be good for a budget scan tool
