First forum post so apologies if anything is wrong. I am looking into speed engineering headers for my 2012 M6 LS3 base model (not trying to make huge power or anything don’t need to spend thousands on headers). I am sure I want to get the X pipe as it doesn’t fit with the stock one, and I will also be getting the steel gaskets as the graphite ones I have been told are junk. My question is do I need the spark plug wires that they sell with it, and if so do I need the 10” or 12” wires. I also would like to know if I need the O2 sensor extensions they sell if I do not plan on having cats. Thank you in advance, and here is the link to the headers and related hardware on their site https://speed-engineering.com/products/ls1-ls6-c5-corvette-longtube-headers-1-7-8-race-version-x-pipe-stainless-m2

On M6 cars you will need to shield the clutch line. This is must as the rubber clutch line will burst due to high heat and also will cause a fire!
