Default DIY front grill + lights

Never liked the front grill on my 2013 seemed unfinished, the ones to buy didn't look like the right fit for mine and were wayyyy to expensive. I bought some silver grid and did it myself and i really like how it turned out. Cut the material to 5' High by 38" wide... went to test fit ,it was a bit of a bear to get in but so impressed how it fit i don't plan to pull it out again for any trimming The top folds over nicely, the bottom ill put a row of 3m tape, and possibly some strips behind the vanes to hold it flush. 99% sure this wont hinder my airflow enough to be a problem... anyone disagree?

here is the link to 15$ worth of Metal mesh, i used about half, easily enough left for another project! (already did my side slots)

Sorry about the lighting and dirt, ill get a better pic during the day.

Here is with my ricer lights, really catches the light

The rear. nothing to do with the grill but took some tricky engineering with angle aluminum to get the lights pointed downwards onto the exhaust.

Looks good.

Newbie? That's an old $3.87 Gutter Guard mod from before you were probably born.

Lights are different. I would be very nervous about lighting up my grimy exhaust tips!

The picture of the front lit up looks like the car is from the movie Cars....... It's like it is smiling at me.

It looks like you added a storm drain leaf guard to your car - if you like though, then that's all that matters, right?

Probably would have been the even cheaper option. I liked my side vents, wanted it to match, just searched "metal mesh" and its what i came up with.

you need this simichrome stuff, i ordered a tube and its really amazing. Tried 4-5 others things didn't help at all, this cut it back to like new almost instantly.
