Hey guys, brand new here and brand new to the vette scene. Just bought my 08 C6 A6 yesterday. The auxiliary jack for the radio isn't working. It's not a phone or cable issue as they both worked when I traded my other car in. Do these ports tend to go out easily? Car has 90k miles and was well taken care of but i can't get my aux jack to work. Radio plays fine, aux cord just doesn't work at all. Tried rotating it and moving the cable around, the jack is also tight and doesn't feel lose. Anyone else have this issue or can recommend a good aftermarket head unit?
People like to put after market radios in their C6 but then put things back to stock when they trade it in. And usually the AUX connector is forgotten about when putting the stock radio back in.
My car was like that.
I pulled the center console and checked and sure enough the AUX cable was not connected.

Easy to pull the center console and check this.
Does it just pop out with a little force like most cars or is there anything special to do?

There are several screws, nuts, and panel pieces that need to be removed to get to the back of the radio. Just search here in the forum or on YouTube to see exactly how to disassemble. It’s a bit involved but not difficult. Just take your time so you don’t break any clips or rip out any wires.
