Soo think I have it, both Red's are tied together at Rear Cam, Red in RCA tied into hot on radio and Purple/White from radio to BCM, makes perfect sense now. Hopefully today I can start install of Upgrade. madsonp is correct Crutchfield gave me wrong information on this. He realized after when I had to call him

No need to tie into anything there, all the connections you need should be on the interface.
How do you want your camera to work, do you want it to come on only in reverse, or do you want to be able to turn it on anytime you're driving down the road ? And yes, you have to ground the black ground wire either way.
I finally got camera to work, I was trying to pull power from the radios hot wire. It was a no go, no video! I used a add-a-fuse and tapped into heated seat fuse. Now not sure if I should use same fuse for Front Camera, I ran out of day light today.

Oh I want Camera on all the time and in reverse.
Did you only try turning it on in accessory mode ? with my Pioneer it'll only turn on when the car is running for some reason, and mines wired to the red 12V+ wire between the head unit and interface.

I tried with car running and accessory mode was no go, Front and Rear Camera are working Perfect now, I Pulled power from Heated Seats Fuse for Both Camera's so I can be sitting in park and hit Cam view both, Click into revesrer screen changes and than back to drive it goes to what ever I was listening too, than as I drive I can hit cam and view front or rear.
Even doing 40 MPH front cam on looks like I'm ripping the pavement. LOL
Without you guys I would of been fighting it on install! Thank you all so much!
Soooo, All hooked up everything seems to be working correctly on my Kenwood DDX9907XR except for Dimming at night.
Try turning the car lights on, then manually turning down the brightness on the Kenwood. It should always go back to that setting when you turn the lights on and the light sensor tells your speedo to dim.

Huh, thats strange, I have both front and rear cameras for my Pioneer hooked up to the Red+ between the head unit and interface and they both work perfect.

yeah that is where I wired my cameras power to. The REd accessory that powers the stereo.
That is probably the Key to it, I wired to Positive Feed for radio and not the accessory wire. I was going to try accessory but was tired of messing with it.
Have to try the dimmer suggestion next hope I dont have to do all the unplugging again in the dang console
The screen barely clears my shifter and it obstructs the AC screen view. But I don't really care. Its pretty awesome to get the updated feel in my car. I'll upload pics if anyone is interested.

To each their own. I saw one of these installed at a corvette show. I don't think it's possible for something to look more out of place

I drive an Audi Q7 as my daily. It has a 9 or 10'' screen that pops out of the dash and I really enjoy it. While I did consider the flush look, there just wasnt a big enough screen to satisfy my viewing needs. It also fits perfectly in reach with my hand on the shifter to control the entire screen while driving.

didn't mean it in a bad way. Most here prefer to have a volume ****. I prefer volume buttons. So many options is what makes upgrading an adventure.

I had given it some thought but decided to just go with standard screen
