I keep getting a service electrical system vehicle has new battery and has codes for p0801 and p803 for revere solenoid that stop working a few years ago. I turned the code of a long time ago with hptuners. I keep getting that message on the light what should I look for? Good battery I do have a starter going out would that be the issue just orders one

My guess would be your alternator is starting to go out.
P0801 is for the reverse lockout and P0803 is for the Skip Shift and looking at the schematic for the circuit that they are both on I would suggest you replace both assemblies or if you have a DMM and feel comfortable testing things yourself, I can send you the wiring diagram and GM diag tree to walk you through testing and verifying that they are bad. The tree points to either replacing those units or the ECM and given that you have said the stopped working a long time ago, my money is on the units being done for.

so I actually know what the issue I broke that connector a few years ago and never plugged it in. I have the new connector just need to wire it up. This is a new issue that just started about two months ago I’m a mechanic by trade but I’m totally lost car runs perfect has no codes any ideas would be appreciated

Oh gotcha!
What I'd recommend you do is verify all wiring is properly connect and free of damage. Then if you want I can send you the schematic for the alternator and you can check it's wiring to the ECM and such to make sure its all good and damage free. What I'm thinking is either you have an intermittent issue with the alternator or somewhere along the lines you might have damage to a wire causing the ECM to read either less than 11v or more than 16v which is what that message is for. (Chaffed wire or such)

That would be great if you could send that over I’ll start checking wiring
Check the solenoid on the starter to see if it has melted.
I’ll check it out when I get home I ordered a new starter also and actually this problem started when happening when one time the starter got stuck was probably cranking for over 1 minute till I was able to get the battery disconnected
