HELP! Third Brake Light Problem
I noticed yesterday afternoon that my third brake light was on while the car was parked and turned off. It wasn't on as bright as when the brake pedal is engaged, but still on. No other lights on the car were on and all brake lights including the third light also work properly when the brake pedal is engaged. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do to solve it? Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

That seems like a symptom of a bad ground for the third brake light. With a bad ground, the third brake light finds a ground elsewhere. I suggest as a first step is for you to find out where the third brake light is grounded, and make sure that connection is clean at the ground point and all the way back to the third brake light bulb.
