I have a problem, I took the radio out and tried to start the car, no luck, when I got the new touch screen in it and tried again, no luck, it tell me that FOB are not in the range, now the car won't start nothing. I changed the fuse for the radio. If you could provide some help?
It's pretty hard to diagnose given the information you've provided, however I do know the Corvette's electronics are highly integrated. It is possible something isn't electronically happy now. Do you have a check engine light on? Have you put an OBD2 scanner on the car?
Have you tried putting your FOB into it's slot in the glove box?
This process doesn't use the battery in the fob. The car battery automatically furnishes the power. If the car will start when the fob is put in the slot in the glove box, try replacing the fob battery after you make sure how the new battery needs to be installed in the fob.
The RCDLR (remote control door lock receiver) is located just above the radio in the dash. Assuming you performed all of the radio removal/installation work yourself, it may be possible that you have accidentally disconnected the RCDLR or now caused some signal interference for the fob to connect properly. Double check that the RCDLR connector is properly seated into the module and be sure to remove any connection cables (phone charger or devices). Then disconnect/reconnect your car battery to perform a clean reboot of your electronic modules and try again.
