I recently purchased a supercharged 2011 C6 that dynode at 850+hp.
I am currently running mikey E/T street r tires in 325/35/18 on 18x10.5 forgestar wheels.
things i like.
they. just. hook. these tires absolutely hook up. no tire spin
things i dont like.
the tires seem to be slightly wide for the wheels, a 325 is normally reserved for a 11in or larger wheel
they are SUPER soft and will wear out very quickly.
they are useless in wet weather. i swear a dog could pee in the road in front of you and you will hydroplane.
type of driving,
this is my fun car, i drive it to work a couple times a week(20 min mixed commute) to dinner with the lady, or just out on a nice day. I drive it enough that the tires wearing super fast are a decent concern. i dont do a lot of hard cornering, but do want something that will have decent cornering ability. Mostly straight line pulls. rolls from 2nd gear, or pulls on the freeway. i dont have a drag strip close by, but want something that i can rely on to hold.
I've had excellent luck with Michelin Pilots sport. But I only turn about 500 hp at rear wheels. I believe mine are 305/35/18. They are excellent in the rain also.
