I don't think this is normal, but want to know if someone can confirm. Is this normal or should I look for a new driveshaft? It's like this on all three ears of the engine end of the driveshaft. It's not like this on the transmission end.

 

Might be normal. Sometimes they remove material to balance a driveshaft. If it was working fine before I'd leave it be.

 

It looks like you can see the contact point between that section and the bolt head on the guibo next to it. Id say that's not normal, especially seeing the failure in the surrounding area.
