Just wondering if anyone here has purchased a “pre-selected interior package” from LeatherSeats.com.
Trying to figure out if the package for a 2012/2013 comes with the seat foam.
Damn foam has been impossible to find so I’m doubtful.
I will call them tomorrow, just trying to get an idea today.
Thanks!
Update!
Looking at some posts from May I see some people saying “yes”, the foam is available at LS.
Others are saying “no”.
Continuing to look at past posts.
Well, I’m just about out of options.
Spoke with LS.com today and they confirmed that the foam is no longer available.
Sent an email to Al Knock - didn’t hear back but I doubt they have the foam.
Friend is checking with Chevy dealers nationwide……
Looks like my only option would be to find seats in a junkyard and remove the foam.
Don’t want to go that route…..
New seat foam could be fabricated by a custom shop. I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap. It's not rocket science and only takes a few pieces of equipment and good contact cement to do the job. Hardest part would be getting decent Velcro and some good spun polyester reinforcing scrim material for the bottom of the cushion and other frame contact areas. I worked at JCI for several years in seat foam manufacture.

Old foam could be used as a visual. It's not rocket science, and size is not that critical; most of our OEM templates were +/- 6 mm on size. My preference would be oversize, as foam easily compresses with the trim and will be less prone to wrinkling.

I’m upgrading the seats from 2011 to 2012/2013.
There is no “old foam” available in this case.
I spoke to them about C6 seats at Carlisle. The BIG reason they do NOT do C6 is because of the airbag. Their manager told me the GM license cost and training was not worth it to them. Yes that they do have C6 patterns, but no sales in the foreseeable future if at all.
