Wanted the axle back setup for my C6 but no one answers phone or answers emails. Does anyone know if they are still in business????
I sent them an email a while ago to request info on if the system had any drone and never heard back. This is by far the least expensive possible reduced drone option that I could find. Very little to no info can be found online with reviews and only a handful of really bad audio clips/videos . It says shipped direct from the manufacture on the Summit web site https://www.summitracing.com/search/...nce%20corvette . Why don't you order it and post up your experience with video/sound clips. I know that I'm not asking a lot lol.
MikeSil98Vert has the NXT system on his C6 and is happy with them as he & myself have discussed the brand before , hopefully he will chime in with more Info.
Here is my write-up on the NXT Step exhaust that I installed on my 2006 Corvette Convertible with manual transmission. I don't experience drone but an automatic will sound different. I installed this exhaust on my Corvette 2 years ago and put over 20,000 miles on it and it still looks new and sounds amazing.

Here is a picture I just took in my garage after 2 years and putting over 20K miles on it.
I been searching and searching. Thanks for posting. I would buy you a beer if you were in the Ohio area lol 🍻. Happy to hear no drone. I’m still waiting to hear back from summit racing. I think I’ll pull the trigger. Shows it takes a month to just ship, so perfect timing for start of spring weather. Looks like you did the install on your own and wasn’t difficult. Only thing I read was some people had a difficult time lining up the tips.

This was done using a lift and with a second person. An extra set of hands makes the installation go more smoothly and it's easier to pull the pipes apart. The tips are perfectly aligned and do not need adjustment.
I posted this in another thread....the NXT Step Performance exhaust has a deep throaty rumble, has no drone (I have a manual transmission) and sounds like an old school big block. It is loud at WOT and has a nice gurgle with some pops on deceleration and during downshifts. It is a well-constructed fully polished stainless steel system with beautiful welds. It looks and sounds awesome, but is on the loud side and my car has stock exhaust manifolds. I get a lot of compliments on the looks and on the sound and it sounds perfect to me.
I had nxt step axle back on my C5. Fitment was great, loud but no drone, welds were really clean too. If it werent for living in a townhouse I probably would have the nxt on my C6 but the NPP is hard to give up until I'm in a stand alone house.
Decided to pull the trigger and see what happens. I doubt it will even ship but you never know. I plan on doing a full video review. Takes about a month just to ship. 🍿
