I recently picked up a base Arctic White 2013 missing the manual, so ordered one from an Ebay third party. When it arrived, I discovered the vehicle to which it was originally intended to accompany. I'm sure the current owner would like to have it. So, now I'm looking for the one that came with my car - 1G1YF2DW8D5105754. If anyone can ID mine, I'd be most appreciative! ~ Buzz (Maine)

Nice to offer it back to the original car. I bet the car was wrecked though and that's why the manual is for sale.

Yes, I thought it might have been wrecked. I checked at Copart, with no luck. Also checked past Manheim auctions, and didn't find it there, either. Is there a national database of VIN's and current owners? Doubt it...

There was a post on here a while back about contacting one of GM's social media accounts (socialmedia@gm.com) to get a free copy of the build sheet.

I emailed them a few weeks ago but they responded that they unfortunately stopped providing those as of November 2021. The response included a link to this site to buy one if you want... http://www.gmmediaarchive.com/

You can also buy them through the Corvette Museum. I have both the original window sticker and the build sheet laminated from them. I also got the original 2011 brochure.

At least for the Carbon Edition Z06, the reprinted window sticker from Corvette Museum is inaccurate, which kinda defeats the purpose.

I believe the OP was just attempting to return the owners manual, window sticker, etc. to the original owner.

You could also check with the local Corvette club in Bozeman MT where the car was sold from and ask there.
